Indonesia borders East Timor, Malaysia and Papua New Guinea. It is slightly less
than three times the size of Texas. Formerly Netherlands East Indies and Dutch
East Indies, Indonesia hosts some of the most spectacular dive sites in the
world.
The blue ring octopus, shown below, is one of the most venomous creatures in the
ocean. It is the size of a golf ball, and lives on average one to two years.
