Socorro Island
Socorro Island is part of the Revillagigedo Archipela in the Mexican Pacific
Ocean. It is located approximately 260 miles south from the southern tip of
Baja, California. Often compared to Ecuador's Galapagos Island, Socorro Island
hosts a number of endemic species and has a diverse group of island flora and
fauna. The scuba diving in this area is spectacular for seeing big animals.
Manta rays, hammerheads, dusky and silky sharks are regularly spotted.
These underwater images capture our exhilaration in interacting with these big
animals.
