Cozumel 5
These images were taken in Cozumel following the major 2005 hurricane.
Coral reefs sustained damage ranging from 20% to 60%. The marine life was
abundant but many of the smaller species, gobies, blennies, and shrimps were
noticeably scarce. Parrotfish, barracudas, and groupers were seen in larger
numbers than prior to the hurricane.
