Cenotes, Mexico 1
Created over 6,500 years ago, the cenotes in Mexico's Yucatan Peninsula are part
of a delicate ecosystem of underwater caves and underground rivers. Gently
diving between the stalagmites and stalactites in crystal clear water is an
unforgettable experience. These images were taken from a number of cenotes in
the Playa del Carmen area of the Yucatan Peninsula in Mexico.
